Wheeling Police Liason Officer
  Officer Dorann Swanson
The School Liaison Officer Program
District 21, in partnership with the Wheeling Police Department has established a School Liaison Officer program at Holmes Middle School and London Middle School. The School Liaison Officer can be looked at as a resource to which the school community can turn. As such the School Liaison Officer fulfills three roles by using a triad approach. The officer acts as a law enforcement officer, a law-related counselor and as a law-related presenter. The officer also serves as a positive role model for the students on campus during school hours and off campus at extracurricular activities.
