Program Philosophy |

The program is designed to guide students towards functional communicative proficiency while developing all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), as well as provide students with the general insight into how languages work. The goal is to equip students: |

| -to use the language for a lifetime of personal enjoyment and enrichment. | |
| -to continue expanding their communicative proficiency for further education or for the work place. | |
| -to appreciate the role of Hispanic cultures in a global context. | |
| -to function in a Spanish-speaking culture. | |
